ADY was not MP9.Ran either Siemos or Digifant cant remember.ADY short intake which gives more KW but less NM.2E had a different intake and yes as Kazuya said came out with a forged crank.ADY and AGG have less wear and tear over the 2E as they are are newer motors.

Yes, Siemos EFI, which is very similar to MP9 sans the MAP sensor and the different ECU.

I suppose any one is good but if you want something thats newer then go for the ADY or AGG motor.If you currently have a MP9 motor in like 1.4 or 1.6 then go to Mikes,block and head with not intake and extras on goes for R2950.....otherwise R3950 for complete motor with extras and intake.

And i just wanted to know which engine will give me the better power... Iam not so worryed about the FI system it uses, just the overall outlook of the 2 motors for what i want to use it for...

Both motors are rated at 85kW and 166Nm ATF at the coast.
Same bore, same stroke, etc.

There will be very minimal differences in outputs if modified the same way, so take your pick of what motor to buy and modify.

I noticed that you had posted a 1997 golf 3 GTi as an ex car, this car had an ADY engine (mp9), actually rated 88kw at the flywheel compared to the pre 1996 2E engine that makes 85kw, with a digifant intake.

The blocks are basically the same, the heads and intakes are different.

I stand to be corrected, but thats my understanding, I own a 1998 golf 3 Gti, so this is after some research.lol.

AFAIK the only car in SA that had teh ADY motor was the MK3 Cabrio.The MP9 version MK3 GTi's had a AFW motor.
