AUDI Tuning.... Any suggestions?

Postby freakoid9000 on Thu Nov 21, 2013 11:11 am

Howzit dudes

Wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with a tuner that would specialise
in Audi tuning? Its the 1.8t BAM engine.

Saweeeeet!

You gonna get different answers from different people.. I like FRC personally, some guys like REVO or STO or or or...

Speak to the tuners yourself and hear what they have to offer you man. PS - what does it have now because sure you cant be running stock software with that mods?

haha, software is definitely not stock. ;)

however I am not happy with the previous "company" whose name shall not be mentioned...

So I am essentially looking for an actual tuner to strap it to a dyno and set her up properly. :?

I've heard that Racetech in Obs is quite good... anyone had their car there?

Did you see how eldrids turbo is attached to the mani :fight:

Nope. Care to share?

I've seen some of racetec's 'build quality' first hand.
Terrible.
Eldrids build was a real f**k up of note.
My buddy had issues with a simple downpipe install. Only one bolt holding it in.

It was welded together   oil feeds inside the engine also were left out and they cut the sensor

Hi Guys, see comments below in red

"It was welded together" Yes turbo was welded to manifold, see pic below.

"oil feeds inside the engine also were left out" The oil spray nozzles was never fitted back resulting in sleeve damage.

"cut the sensor" Yes the oil pressure sensor wire was cut, which somehow prevented the engine from warning me about the oil nozzles, I suspect when they started the car they realized something was wrong and the quickest solution was to cut wire.

A picture is worth a thousand words ...

This is how you weld 2 pipes straight ...

Name and shame man so the rest of us know who to avoid.

I'm sure you wouldn't want any of us to make that mistake :thumright:
