What split system is that and are you running it off the Factory Deck?

Vibe BlackAir 6 (SPL Series). For the moment they are being run off the deck but that will change soon enough. The deck is nowhere near powerful enough to drive these (min input power of 60w RMS!) Off the top of my head they rated at over 200w RMS so will be flippin loud when amped properly.

Once the splits are in, I'm gonna get an Audiocontrol signal summing processor (Basically takes 4 high level outputs from the deck, cleans them up and in turn outputs them via 6 channel RCA two of which are for the sub and the level and frequency is controlled from a dash mounted remote)

Vibe Amp (4ch)
Image
BlackAir V12 550w RMS DVC Active Sub and enclosure to complement the splits

Stock rear speakers will also be amplified as I will need to use their signal for the signal processor although I'll definitely upgrade them to Vibe Coax at some stage.

You may have noticed that I'm going for a full Vibe install he he including wiring!

It's gonna be awesome! Just gonna take me a while to get everything. I'll be collecting the components over time as cash allows.

2 amps really...the Sub is active so therefore has a monoblock amp built in.

The 4ch is just for the splits and rear fill...

It's been forever since I have been here... Even though there is most likely nobody around to read this, I thought I would post anyway

So I have had my ups and downs with the A3 but she's coming together now. The whole Vibe sound system did happen but I have since sold the Active Sub. Only the splits remain with some crappy sub.

I have been focussing on the motor in a way and have done the following within the last 3 months:

76mm DP from Evolution Performance - Amien is a lakka ou!
Stealth Atom 2 intake - This caused sh$%t and broke stuff as it did not fit well. Replaced the Filter and housing with BMC CDA
Audi R8 "Red Top" Coil Packs - Winner!
Carbon Clean by C-Teq - This sorted my slightly lumpy idle and has the motor running smooth all through the rev range
Hankook V12 Ventus Evo Tyres - Very nice ride and handling...streets ahead of the P Zero Nero's I had on before

Next up will be Software and full 76mm exhaust. May go with Amien again for these.

Thanks guys!

I almost got myself a set of 18 inch RS3 Reps with the same tyres that I have on now. I was buying them from a mate but he lost his job so couldn't do the deal. He was gonna get 19 inch vossen concaves

Now I have had to put on new tyres which basically cleaned me out for now! Once they are finished, rims will come...the way I drive, that won't be too far off

Nice man! I see WULFCHIPTEGNIK is having specials this month on their software. Looks like 3k for your model: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152124553254550&set=a.10150390095534550.373363.83100884549&type=1&theater

But would also prefer Amien's STO software.

Yea, don't have the cash at the moment in any case. I need to do engine mountings soon and that's big $$$$

Essentially I want to have mountings done and enough spare cash for clutch before doing SW. Don't want to be stranded and carless due to clutch popping and no cash to replace it ha ha
