so WHY did you use paint on primer when you could of bought a blikkie primer from ANY hardware store???

what you gonna have to do ir remove the black spraypaint, remove the paint on primer re sand and re apply properly. :thumright:

OK so the rim conversion is going good. I managed to fix the initial mess its just getting the green to dry quicker. So i just drove with half sprayed mags and the stuff I used to cover the black on. So now im gonna get dissed by these other WANNA be car modders. I'd like to see them do the job by hand on there own and see how I have to struggle with it. but I think by the end of today this is going to look mad. :D I'll post some lookie loo's later or over the weekend

Looks leka

Got a MONSTER effect to it
Pretty unique too
Style the car up to match it, and you'll have a guaranteed head turner
If you're in control, you're not going fast enough!

Ok so my mag plan FAILED!!! EPICALLY. Now comes and even bigger question... what to do now... Can I vynal the face? like a carbon look on the mags? but if I vynal should I vynal something else on the car? or do I attempt this again? how about white this time? so green inners and keep it easy with white face? which would look insane still but will loose the monster affect... thoughts?

FIRSTLY!!!!

dedicate an entire weekend for the spraypainting and tackle 2 wheels a day....get yourself some paint stripper and let that really clean of all the k*k you caught on with the rims... then you sand paper off all the rough bits to a lekker smooth finish...then apply SPRAY ON primer NOT paint on, while the 2 rims dry tackle the other 2 so you always busy with the rims instead of waiting on them to dry or what not... once they dry water sand them, apply primer again and water sand until the rim is smooth like a baby's bottom and no scratches are present - then get your a$$ some charcoal spraypaint and apply...WHY - cause even though the green inners will give you that "monster" effect... you will have a monster time cleaning the brake dust off... keep it real dave!

yeah i know came across as a bit peeved off but dude think ahead.... light green inners and black brake dust...

Ok I know what you saying. and I thought of it. Im looking for someone who has a set of steelies to lend me while I work on my rims. Its kinda difficult and time constrained if I have to do all this and drive the car. My dad used to work for mercedes and he told me that I have to get the rims "baked" I dont know what that means. and then do a re-spray. if ANYONE OUT THERE HAS A SET OF STEELIES WITH TIRES TO LEND ME FOR LIKE 2 - 3 DAYS I WOULD APPRICIATE IT
